'After several years working as a freelance translator, I founded the translation firm Translatium in 2013 with the hopes of being able to provide a service in other languages and areas that were different from fields of expertise. Now, seven years and lots of hard work later, we now have an office in the centre of Madrid, a professional in-house team, a vast supporting team of international freelancers, as well as a technical training department and partnerships with the best universities in Europe. We are in the process of obtaining the ISO 17100 Quality Standard certification that corroborates that our good work isn't just the result of chance or intuition, but of many years of research, learning, dedication, high demands, professionalism, and the search for excellence and experience. This is Sonia Pérez, our Project Manager and EN-SP translator. After completing her degree in translation and interpretation at the UAM, she began her training with us and now we couldn't survive without her. Since her first day, she delighted us with her professionalism and savoir-faire. She is a bundle of energy who is passionate about scientific-technical and medical translation. Ever since she was little, her wanderlust meant that she knew she wanted to be a translator to be able to communicate with people from other cultures and see the world. Mission accomplished!
