Shadwen is an assassin, and at the outset you're shown that Lily isn't much more than a street urchin who's lost her parents, and it's Shadwen's luck-good or bad?-that happens to save Lily. As Shadwen moves through the environment, she must guide Lily from one cover spot to the next without being spotted, so a certain amount of strategy is required in order to distract the guards so that one, or both, can move safely. The game consists of 15 levels that offer a range of environments and challenges to overcome.

Shadwen is not your typical stealth game, although it employs many of the same elements you might find in titles like Thief, Hitman or many other. Frozenbyte - the guys and gals behind the Trine series - tried to make the experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible, while still allowing the players to take.
